Embracing the New Chapter of Retirement with Excitement!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the recent feature in Business in Calgary’s “Where is He Now” article. The timing couldn’t have been more impeccable, as I am currently adjusting to retirement and embarking on a new chapter of my life.

Stepping away from the company I founded at the young age of 21 has given me the opportunity to reflect, explore, and embrace new adventures. It has also allowed me to focus on some of the important personal priorities that have taken a backseat over the years.

I am incredibly excited about the opportunities that have presented themselves in the past few months. This newfound excitement and energy have reinvigorated my spirit, and I wake up each morning with a renewed sense of purpose.

As I navigate this new phase, I have identified a formula that will guide me towards creative fulfillment for the rest of my life. My endeavors must align with these core principles:

1. Mutual Opportunity: Any opportunity I pursue should be mutually beneficial for myself and others involved. Collaboration and shared growth are of utmost importance.

2. Giving Back: Contributing to society and making a positive impact will always be a priority in my journey. Giving back to the community is both personally fulfilling and essential.

3. Fun: I firmly believe that passion and enjoyment are key ingredients for creative fulfillment. Engaging in activities that bring joy allows me to approach them with enthusiasm and unwavering dedication.

4. Collateral Collaboration: Collaborating and learning from others is vital in finding new perspectives and stimulating creativity. Working together fosters innovation and expands horizons.

With this formula as my compass, I am confident that the next chapter of my life will be filled with exciting and fulfilling adventures. I am eager to explore new opportunities, make meaningful connections, and continue making a positive impact wherever I can.
